My good friend Fuhta from Japan

Almost every year, our dear family friend Kachan will visit us during Chinese New Year.

She brought along her eldest grandson, Sohta (when he was around 5-6 years old) in 2006 - I was in my Mommy's tummy at that time...hehehe. Then in 2007 Kachan brought her 2nd grandson, Yohta who was around 4-5 years old then and I was only 5 months old. We went to the bird park together - although I was sleeping in the baby carrier most of the time! See how small I was then.

This year, Kachan brought along Fuhta (he turns 5 years old in March) and my time with him is most memorable.

See how well we bonded, strolling inside the shopping mall (Pavilion)?

Or while taking a walk in the park at Lake Titiwangsa?

Or while sitting in the horse carriage?

We got on the Hop-On Hop-Off bus & I was so thrilled to be on it.
In case you didn't know, I aspire to be a bus driver.
And I even found courage to ride horse back all by myself!

Daddy says the horses there are ponies coz' they're much shorter and smaller than the one we rode at Batu Ferringhi, Penang. See how different they are!
Mommy: Come to think of it - it was quite dangerous for Bryan to ride horse / pony without ay safety helmet etc...The trainer was just pulling along the pony. Bryan could have fallen off the pony...Gasp!

I was very upset when Fuhta had to leave for Japan. I know one Japanese word though. "KONNICHIWA" (hello, good afternoon).
Mommy: We've heard Bryan saying "BAKA" (stupid, idiot, fool). Double gasp!
Must have picked it up from his playschool mate Mitsu. Kids do say the darnest thing...

Chinese New Year (Part 2)

Jimai & Damai came back to celebrate Chinese New Year with us.
We missed you, LLMM!!

They got me this gold Chinese New Year costume which fits me perfectly
Don't you think it looks swell?!

On the 2nd day of CNY, we had dim-sum lunch with Kau Kung & family at Shangri-la Hotel.

Jimai loves this pic of me, so I'm posting it up.

After a long lunch, we went out to the hotel's compound and I got to go into a maze. I was so happy following Har Dey that I wanted to do it again and again.

CNY wouldn't be CNY without any gambling...hehehe.
It must be a good year ahead for Daddy coz' he was the biggest winner!

Although I was disruptive at times, I found new playmates, Jimai and Damai, who were more than happy to play with me.
Creative Jimai who made a cute cute red and white train (or was it bus) with PlayDoh.

Damai whom I'm awfully attached to

I was very sad when they left for Dubai, in the old rickety-rackety yellow taxi ....and took along my Har Dey too.

Chinese New Year

This year, we went back to Penang 4 days before the 1st day of Chinese New Year. I was very happy to see Yeh Yeh and Granny, and couldn't wait to play with my cousin Kenneth Ko Ko. I'd be asking "Where's Kenneth Ko Ko?" "Why is Kenneth Ko Ko soooooo slow?" (complaining while waiting for Kenneth's arrival)

When Kenneth Ko Ko and family came over, I was so happy to share my toys and play with Kenneth Ko Ko. The others were all coo-cooing over baby Dylan, which was fine with me coz' I had a playmate!

At times Kenneth Ko Ko gets tired of me following him around, or pestering him to play but Mommy says I'm at a beautiful age - I don't know the meaning of "being rejected"
I think everyone was fussing over baby Dylan and busy eating the yummy yummy food that Granny made, that we forgot to take a group photo.
So here are some random pictures taken:-

Newest addition to our family???
I do wish to have a Ti Ti (little brother) like baby Dylan though...

Here's me with Yeh Yeh rolling mandarin oranges "Kam" (gold) for a prosperous year ahead!

And not forgetting, flowers for Mommy on Valentine's Day!
